A Winter Look: Red Beanies and Love Sweaters

Would you believe me if I said I didn’t own a single pink sweater up until last week? For some reason, I’ve just never gravitated toward them before! With the daylight getting shorter and shorter and the temperature dropping quickly, now is the perfect time to have fun with your outfits and brighten your day! For Blogmas Day Nine, I’m sharing my new favorite winter look: red beanies and love sweaters!

One of my favorite holiday fashion looks is pairing bright and fun colors with darker neutrals. I tend to wear a lot of basic neutral colors during the winter, however, I’ve been trying to switch that up! Which is why I brought these brighter, more statement pieces into my wardrobe.

Beanie

You guys already know how much I love this beanie! I have it in black and I wear it all the time! It comes in a ton of other colors, so I picked up the red one for some more holiday spirit!

Vest

I own these Old Navy vests in like 5 different colors. They are perfect for the fall and winter time. During the winter, I’ll add a thicker sweater underneath to help keep me warm. I also love wearing vest when I know I’m going to be indoors most of the day. Stores can get so hot when you’re wearing a heavy winter parka! Fit is true to size.

Sweater

I am so in LOVE with this sweater, get it? Haha! I’ve had my eye on this sweater for quite some time now and it finally went on sale! I will say that it runs a bit tight, so I went up to a size small and probably could have even done a medium.

Jeans

Old Navy boyfriend jeans are the absolute best! They are super loose and comfy, yet still flattering on! I own these boyfriend jeans in multiple styles and colors. The exact ones I’m wearing aren’t sold anymore, but I liked a few very similar pairs. They all fit true to size!

Booties

I did an entire blog post about how much I love these Chelsea boots. They are one of my favorite purchases of 2018! They run true to size, however, if you plan on wearing with thicker socks I would recommend going up 1/2 a size.
