One of my favorite things to do is to cook. I love shopping for groceries to create the perfect meal. It’s so much fun trying out new meals and new ingredients. Over the years I’ve gathered a ton of vegan cookbooks and today I’m going to share my favorites with you! A lot of these cookbooks share more than just recipes. They share the why behind eating plant based and some of the science behind it. One shares workout tips and another shares ways to eat healthy while on the go. I hope you find these cookbooks helpful in your kitchen!

Top 10 Vegan Cookbooks
YumUniverse-This is one of my favorite ones because the author goes into depth about the basics of eating vegan while also sharing recipes. She shares tips on different ingredients, a bit of the science behind eating a plant based diet and other helpful tips!
Vegan Recipes in 30 Minutes-This is perfect if you are short on time and want to whip up a yummy meal in a short amount of time.
The Oh She Glows Cookbook-She is one of my favorite people to follow for yummy plant based recipes. They are always really creative and easy to follow recipes.
Frugal Vegan-Amazing to see the different recipes you can create while sticking to your budget. Regardless of your budget, you’ll find some amazing ways to create delicious meals without breaking the bank.
Simple Green Meals-Need more greens in your diet? This is the cookbook for you! It also shares simple green meal plans and how to make these recipes work for you and your lifestyle.
Thug Kitchen Party Grub-Thug Kitchen cookbooks are hilarious to read-they are a bit PG-13+ with the language they use. However, they provide amazing recipes for groups of people and are great for crowd pleasers.
Simple Green Smoothies-There are a million ways to make a delicious green smoothie and this book shares a ton of them. This would be great too for someone who has a hard time getting in their greens!
Super Easy Vegan Slow Cooker Cookbook-This cookbook is my jam, especially in the fall/winter time when I’m constantly using my slow cooker. Perfect for those chilly weekends!
Vegan Vitality-This cookbook shares so much more than just recipes. It shares workout and fitness tips, ways to eat healthy while being out and about and interviews with plant based athletes!
Eat Your Way Healthy at Trader Joe’s-While this cookbook isn’t specially vegan, it’s so easy to swap out a product for a plant based one. I’m constantly at Trader Joe’s, so this cookbook is really fun to see what meals I can create and give me new recipe ideas.
