4 Ways to Incorporate Pink Into Your Life | Weekly Obsession

Hello Friends! Welcome back to another weekly obsession. This week is all about the color PINK. If you’re new here, my weekly obsession segment of my blog is where I share my latest thing I am obsessing over. I wanted a place to dedicate an entire blog post to a topic that I’ve been loving, hence “Weekly Obsession” was born.

Let me give you some background on my relationship with the color pink. It was real bad. I owned almost nothing in that color, I just never gravitated towards it. For some reason, lately, I have been absolutely obsessed with it. I even changed my header on this website to incorporate some of this fun color. All of my purchases lately have been pink and I wanted to share with you guys some of my favorite pieces.

Not only is pink just a fun color, it’s also a very trendy color for this summertime! To me, it means fun and exciting times. I love how it’s such a bright color and instantly makes me happy when I see it. I’ve been loving to incorporate it into my outfits as well as my little home office.

Beauty:

This may be the easiest way to try out some new products. My go-to is some lipstick or lipgloss. I love layering both of these together for a fun look. With a brighter lip, it instantly says “summer”. You can also rock a pink blush as well! My top three are the Nar’s Deep Throat, Mac’s Breath of Plum and Thrive Causemetic’s Olivia.  I also painted my toes with this super cute color. I love how it’s a light shade so it won’t draw too much attention to your nails.

Clothing:

If you are adventurous and want to wear pink, then I have some pieces for you! Like I said before, I’ve been reaching for anything and everything in the color pink lately. My shirt is an oldie from J Crew Factory but I linked other cute tops too. I am obsessed with velcro shoes and when I saw that Target had light pink ones I bought them instantly! I love how they are a light pink color, so to me, I almost consider them a neutral in my color palette.

Stationary:

I love stationary! This is such an easy way to add some pink into your life! If it doesn’t match your interior design, it can be very easy to hide these pieces in a drawer as well. I love bullet journaling and writing down my thoughts. I saw that Leuchtturm had a pink journal and I fell in love with it. Using these cute pens is my newest way of jotting down notes. Food & Drink:

Lastly but not least is the food and drink section. Girl’s gotta have her snacks, right? I saw that Lara Bars came out with a new flavor of Strawberry Chocolate Chip and let me tell you-it is delicious. I’ve been eating Lara Bars for about four years now and I try every new flavor they come out with. This one is in the top 10. Now I’m not a big seltzer drinker, but I couldn’t resist the cute packaging and it’s actually not too bad! I like to add it to lemonade to tone down the bubbly affect.
