Three Affordable Outfits for the Fourth of July
Fourth of July is only one week away! Can we talk for a second about how it’s already July? Where did the first half of the year go?? I have no idea. Anyways, I’m so excited for the fourth! I’m not 100% sure what my plans are yet, but you can bet that I will be getting dressed up regardless.
The Fourth of July has always been one of my favorite holidays. It’s a great day to celebrate the US’s independence and spend time with friends and family. To me, it’s like summer has really gotten started.
Fourth of July Outfits
Speaking of spending time with others, are you struggling with what you’re going to wear to any of your festivities? No worries- I got you covered! I pulled together three affordable outfits that will be perfect for any shin-dig that you’re going to! Each outfit can be fit for different occasions. I also chose pieces that would be great for the remainder of the year as well!

Outfit #1
This first outfit is perfect for almost any Fourth of July occasion! Because it’s a denim dress, it can be dressed up with heels, or dressed down with flats (like I’m wearing here). This dress has a button detailing down both sides and that sets it apart from your basic denim dress.
Denim is basically a neutral in my closet, so I would wear this dress all year long. I think it would look super cute with a sweater, tights and boots in the fall!
Outfit #2
The second outfit may be my favorite! I love love love this romper! I think that it’s the cutest thing in the world. It has fitted, yet relaxed fit so you can still enjoy tons of yummy food! It has pockets which is a must and the length is perfect to show off any cute shoes. The neckline is a higher cut and is adjustable with a tie in the back.
I think that this romper would be adorable to wear to a picnic, family bbq, or any outside activities. The stripes on the romper aren’t super thick and “red white and blue” so you can still wear this all summer long! I also love gingham for the fourth, so I added a blue and white gingham bandana.
Outfit #3
The third and final outfit is a more relaxed one. Even if you don’t have any plans, you can still look fourth-ready and super adorable. Let me tell you about these pieces. I own this white tank top in about 10 different colors. It’s super lightweight and inexpensive, which makes for a perfect summer essential.
The shorts are beyond comfortable, I prefer my shorts to be a bit longer and higher wasted. My blue velcro shoes are so comfy- I actually own them in 3 colors! My bracelets are from Homestead Garden in Severna Park, Maryland and my rings are from Village Silver Smith in Portsmouth, NH.
I love how without the accessories and blue shoes, it just looks like an everyday outfit, so you can keep wearing them for the rest of summer! Add the bag and makes for the perfect place to store some red lipstick and bring in some red white and blue. Also, is it really the fourth if you don’t have a Chick Fil A sweet tea? It’s definitely my guilt pleasure!
