Once fall starts I instantly bring out all my fall decor. For Blogtober Day Three, I’ll be sharing one of my favorite spots in my apartment: my reading nook. I recently purchased a mid century modern accent chair and I am so obsessed! I have have my eye on this type of chair for so long and I finally took the plunge and bought it.
This nook in our apartment is usually home to our Christmas tree during the holidays, however I wanted something that would stay year round and bring some more warmth to our space. I love how this chair in a light linen material because it helps brighten up the space, especially now that the sun is setting so much earlier!
Since my boyfriend and I have moved into this apartment, we have been slowly bringing in pieces that we love and will stay with us for quite some time. I would love to bring in more mid century styled pieces throughout our space, such as a couch from West Elm! Anyone else obsessed with that store?

Besides having additional seating in our living room, it also meant that this corner of my apartment was so much more fun to decorate for fall! Some of these pieces were from last year so I’ll leave links to similar things if I can find them! One of my favorite ways to decorate is with pumpkins! I love mixing up the size, texture and color of them to bring more variety into my apartment.
I was browsing Home Goods for fall decor and I fell in love with the giant white pumpkin and plaid blanket. It’s the softest thing I’ve ever felt. If you have a Home Goods near you, I highly recommend checking out their blankets and fall decor! Honestly, that store is amazing for any home decor!
