Every season I tend to stick to the same basic pieces for every outfit that I wear. For fall, its a cozy turtleneck, comfy jeans and some tall boots. For some reason, I can’t stop buying turtlenecks. The other day I went to Goodwill with my sister and I walked out with three turtlenecks! Just a couple weeks ago I shared an entire blog post about my favorite turtleneck for fall! For Blogtober Day Twenty-Six, I’m sharing three fall basics that you need in your closet!

Having a few key fall basics can help you create any kind of outfit. To accessorize, I love to add fun hats, scarves and bags to these outfits! My turtleneck is thrifted and my boots are old, but I’ve linked similar ones below! My jeans are still for sale and I’ve linked those!
I prefer a looser style neckline for my turtlenecks. Have you ever tried putting one on and realized you couldn’t breathe? That is exactly why I prefer a looser neckline! I’ve linked 6 different cozy turtlenecks for you guys. I love all the color blocking on them. I have my eye on the gray with blue and green below!
Dark Wash Jeans
I love a darker wash pair of jeans for the fall time. My favorite stores to buy jeans from are American Eagle, Target, Old Navy and Abercrombie and Fitch. My favorites are a super dark wash, black, or a medium wash. I think they make an outfit a bit more “fall like” than lighter washes. I’ve linked 6 darker wash jeans for you guys! I love the dark black ones in the middle!
For fall basics, tall boots are a huge necessity. I probably wear them four times a week! They are a cute way to add to your outfit and they can keep your legs warm too. Here are six tall boots that I am loving for fall! I love the dark brown pair (third) down below!
