My Go To Denim Shorts

Happy Thursday! It is finally August, how insane is that? 2018 is absolutely flying by! Not complaining because it means it’s closer to the holiday season! Today’s weekly obsession is all about denim shorts! I am in love with this pair from Old Navy. They are the 3” Boyfriend Denim Shorts and come in a variety of colors!

Even though it is August, I am going to be wearing denim shorts for the next couple months here. I love denim shorts that aren’t too short. It can be so hard to find a good pair of shorter shorts that don’t show your bum! These ones are a bit longer, but still so flattering. They also have to be comfy! There is nothing worse than wearing an uncomfortable pair of denim shorts/pants. These have the perfect amount of stretch to them.

I would also call them a mid-rise which is my personal fav! They run very true to size and go from 00-20. They also come in a darker + lighter wash and a distressed version.

I wore these denim shorts with a funky thrifted top and my classic black high top Converse. Because my top is thrifted, I will leave some similar shirts linked! Even though this look is very laid back, with the right top and shoes, you can totally dress it up as well!
