Decorating for Christmas

If you guys have been following my Instagram, then you’ll know that I put up my Christmas decorations on November 4th! No shame, I just love this time of year! Over the past month or so, I’ve been adding the finishing touches and I wanted to share how I’ve been decorating with you guys! For Blogmas Day Seven, I’m sharing how I’m decorating for Christmas!

Most of our Christmas decor has come from Target, Walmart and Wayfair. Walmart has a ton of bigger decor pieces for such an affordable price! I’ve linked as many things as I could find with each picture!

Entryway

I wanted the entrance of our apartment to feel as festive as possible! I added a letter board with a Christmas saying on it. Along the top of the table, I added a bunch of festive ornaments and knick knacks to finish it off! For our chair, I kept it simple with red, green and white accents! The wreath came pre-flocked and I added a bunch of little fillers to make it more fancy!

Christmas Tree

For the tree, I kept it simple with red and silver ornaments. I added some filler branches and do-dads to help make it look more full! For the presents, I am in love with the kraft paper wrapping paper. I chose three different styles that I think go well together. I’m not able to find the wrapping paper online, but check out your local Walmart to see if they have them!

Living Room

In the living room, I wanted our space to still be functional. For our coffee table, I added some ornaments, a mini tree and lights for decor. The candle is Trader Joe’s Cedar Balsam-smells just like Christmas! The garland under the TV is one of my favorite decor pieces. It’s so easy to add lights and ornaments to make it feel festive.

I also hung garland along the tops of the living room windows. I only recently did this and it has completely transformed the space. I’ll definitely be doing it to every window we have next year!
