If you have had access to the internet this year, then you’ll know that baggier jeans are super trendy! Everyone and their mother is wearing mom jeans, boyfriend jeans, and girlfriend ones. Basically anything but skinny jeans!

I have to admit I have jumped on the bandwagon. This summer I have been wearing two pairs from Old Navy and I am completely obsessed with them! I love these ones because they aren’t too baggy and they are totally affordable! You can easily dress them up or down depending on the look you’re going for.

Because I’m a college student, you guys know I’m all about affordable pieces and these are the most affordable boyfriend jeans I’ve been able to find!

The Boyfriend Jeans

I have a darker and a lighter wash pair  of the Old Navy Boyfriend Straight Jeans. They are also on sale right now! I bought my jeans a little while ago, but they have crazy similar ones still! I am typically a size 00-0 in jeans and I bought these ones in a 0. They can be slightly big in between washes, however it helps the look of the bagginess. They come in sizes 0-20 and have the jeans in tall and petite sizes as well!

Right now they are on sale for under $40! Even their regular price is $45, which is still a great deal! Old Navy always has sales/deals going on, so I’m sure you can score these boyfriend jeans for a great deal!

How I Style

I wore my darker jeans with a simple black top and black sandals. My black top is super old, but I’ll leave a link to a similar piece! I love how simple the outfit is, but it’s still put together. I wore a fun colored cardigan (similar linked below) to help spice up the outfit! 

My sandals are old ones from Target, but they still have them! I have worn them every single summer for the past 3-4 years! They are only $19.99 and come in four colors! I would recommend going up ½ a size. Usually I wear size 6.5 but had to get a 7!

I really love how this outfit can be perfect for hot or colder weather. Because the boyfriend and I went to the beach in the evening, the weather was a bit cooler. The cardigan made for the perfect piece to through over.

These darker wash jeans would also look so cute with a white graphic tee and white tennis shoes too.
