The Fall Tag | Blogtober Day One

It’s finally October! As I’m writing this I am drinking pumpkin spice flavored coffee with pumpkin coffee creamer. You could say I love pumpkin everything. I am so excited for October to begin and really get started on the fall festivities. I still cannot believe that it’s getting into the last and best part of the year! This month I’ll be participating in Blogtober. Don’t know what it is? It’s where you write a blog post every single day of October! If you are a blogger I challenge you to do the same! It’s definitely going to be a bit difficult to write a new post each day, but I am excited to get writing and sharing bits of my life with you guys!

Blogtober Day One: The Fall Tag

I’m just about finished decorating my apartment for fall, so watch out for a fall decor tour this month! If you read my last blog post, then you’ll know that I created a Fall Bucket List for this year! 1. What is one candle you MUST light every fall?

Anything pumpkin related… or Fall related. Basically anything with deeper tones and scents. I am so in love with the pumpkin shaped candles from Target (see below). Such a cute candle! I also love the Trader Joe’s Honeycrisp Apple scent. If you have a TJ’s near you, you need to buy it!

2. When you think of fall, what does it remind you of?

I just think of pumpkins everywhere, cozy nights in and making yummy treats.

3. What is your all time favorite fall/Halloween movie?

I love Hocus Pocus! I’m actually going to start watching my Fall Movie list tonight, starting with Hocus Pocus.

4. What Halloween costume do you have in mind?

I’m thinking something lumber jack inspired because of my love for flannels. When I was a kid I was obsessed with going as a witch or an equestrian!

5. What is your favorite fall trend?

I just love all the warmer colors! Neutrals, greens and oranges are my favorite things to wear in the fall time. Time to bring on the cozy sweaters and boots! I’ve linked some of the things I have recently bought and in my cart currently. 

6. When you think of fall, what drink comes to mind?

Apple cider! I just bought a huge gallon of it and it’s almost gone. Whoops! Even though I love my pumpkin spice flavored drinks, nothing beats a warm cup of apple cider.

7. What is your go to fall beauty product? A must have staple!

Warmer eye shadows! I keep my makeup super simple, so when Fall does come around, I like to add some copper and nude eyeshadows to create a more warm look! I love the Urban Decay Naked Palette. It’s 1/2 off right now too! I wish I could pull off a darker lip though!

8. Do you prefer apple pie or pumpkin pie?

I am a huge sucker for pumpkin pie. But to be completely honest, I prefer pecan pie! I’m going to try making a vegan version this year.

9. Do you have any fall traditions? If so tell us all about it!

I’ve started up the tradition of going apple picking and then making an apple pie last year. I am so excited to do that again this year.

10. The moment of truth, is fall your favorite season?

Fall is hands down my favorite season. I can’t get enough of it! I live in Maine, where Fall is just so pretty. The leaves have already started changing colors and the air is a bit crisper.
